The definitive Himalayan experience

I've trekked in 14 countries. Annapurna is still the most awe-inspiring place I've ever been. Himalayan Paths are outstanding operators — the guides have a sixth sense for when someone is struggling with altitude and adjust accordingly. The Thorong La sunrise is something I will carry for the rest of my life.

Train seriously and you'll be rewarded

I took the training guide very seriously — 10 weeks of long hill walks, including two overnight camps. It made a real difference on the upper sections. The guides are calm, experienced and incredibly kind. The teahouse food is simple but the dal bhat kept us fuelled throughout. Unforgettable.
